New England Patriots Honor Ronald McDonald House Volunteer with an Award and a $1,500 Grant

On Thursday, May 28, Jeff Emonds, long-time Ronald McDonald House volunteer, along with his wife Linda and son Trevor attended a luncheon and awards ceremony at the Fidelity Investments Clubhouse at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Jeff and 20 individuals from the New England area were recognized for the contributions they make to the organizations where they volunteer. Jeff Emonds was given an engraved wooden football trophy along with a $1,500 check awarded to the Portland Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House felt that Jeff Emonds was a true patriot and has embodied that dedication to service not only with his commitment to the Ronald McDonald House, but also through his involvement with his church, volunteer activities in his military service and as a soldier on duty in Iraq. Gabrielle Little, House Manager shared, "We are extremely proud of Jeff Emonds and applaud the New England Patriots for their tremendous civic-minded support for volunteerism."
"I am honored and humbled by this nomination and being awarded a finalist placement that was presented to me by Robert & Myra Kraft, John Hannah, and Andre Tippetts," said Jeff Emonds who further stated, "Tom Brady made a special appearance to the delight of all of the attendees."
