Our McDonald's Relationship

The partnership between McDonald’s Corporation, its Owner/Operators and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and its local Chapters date back to the inception of the charitable organization.  For 38 years, McDonald’s support of RMHC, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation, has allowed the Charity to grow to provide stability and vital resources to families in 57 countries and regions.

Portions of the annual operating cost for Ronald McDonald House are graciously funded by McDonald’s and the Owner/Operators of local McDonald’s restaurants. The remainder of our annual operating income comes from the generosity of individual and corporate donors.  As McDonald’s “Charity of Choice,” RMHC benefits from in-store fundraising, raising awareness of the Charity’s mission and volunteering by McDonald’s Owner/Operators and employees.  Collectively, our McDonald’s utilize their restaurants, advertising dollars, packaging and crew to create customer awareness and support for the Charity.  In restaurant promotions and fundraisers are held throughout the year to include Give a Hand® along with RMHC Donation Boxes.

We would like to recognize and thank our McDonald’s Owner/Operators along with their employees for serving as an ever present symbol of hope for children who need critical medical care and for their families.  They are:
